We started this way back in 2008, and in six years, we’ve raised nearly $4,000, donating it to the Grayson-Jockey Club Research Foundation, the Belmont Child Care Association, Days’ End Horse Rescue, Our Mims, Old Friends at Cabin Creek, All About Spay Neuter, ReRun, Pure Thoughts Horse Rescue, the Thoroughbred Aftercare Association, the Permanently Disabled Jockeys Fund, and the Exceller Fund.
Partner Mike Dorr and I are trying to get the game going for this weekend, but first, we seek your feedback.
In the comments, let us know what worked for you about the game last year, and what you’d like to see tweaked. Specifically: I heard from a couple of people that it was frustrating to have to choose horses from different groups, because you were unable to pick all the horses that you wanted to include.
So: let us know what you think about that, and anything else about the game…as a reminder, here’s how we ran it last year.
And we hope you join us when we kick things off!
